Thanks, Eric! If you go to the map of Central Park that Eric provides, what I called "The Cereal Bowl" is the loop in the lower left hand corner of Map #5, encircling Heckscher Playground and The Carousel. My intended new route "The Roaster" was to take me up past the Carousel, around Rumsey Playfield, across to Strawberry Fields and down. Here's the kicker! I never realized until now that my big mistake came from misreading the map. It turns out the route I was actually running all along was "The Roaster"! No wonder I never found the turnoff, there is none! Did I Err?
