Repost: December 07, 2003 - 11:58 p.m.Note:For some reason, my December 7 entry The Dark Tower loads as my December 9 entry, and even reentering the info doesnt seem to fix it. Somehow it would seem that the page names are the same (Did I err? ), however Diarylands editing program doesnt seem to allow me to rename a page once its posted without completely deleting it and placing the pages out of order. For now I just added it again here.See? My life really is just an endless series of Grooisms!
The Man In Black fled across the desert and The Gunslinger followed.
Regarding Steven Kings latest installment of The Dark Tower entitled Wolves of the Calla, I just posted the following on the Steven King Dark Tower Message Board:
OMFG! I can't believe how far off the beam I've been traveling! This book has been out a whole month and I only found out tonight! I've read all of Steven King's books (and reread most often, at that!). Like many I say I love The Stand the best of all, but that's only because The Dark Tower series is in a class by itself. Nothing else compares to it, and I am thrilled beyond belief that not only do I get another installment, but that the series is written in its entirety! WOW!!! I mean, Book 6 Summer 2004, Conclusion Fall 2004! Swoooooon!!! Those who know how much I've anticipated the Lord of the Rings movies will be shocked to hear me say it, but damned, I truly have never been more excited about any book, movie, hell, frankly by anything. I can't gush enough, and I really donj't ever gush like this, short of stab wounds (I know S. K. would like that)! Thank you, Mr. King!!! As I said, The penultimate installment, The Song of Susannah will be published Summer of 2004, followed in the fall by the grand finale of grand finales, simply titled The Dark Tower. Be still my geeky heart!!! Thanks, Oscar, for telling me about this!!!
